Fourth annual Revival on the River comes to the Chattahoochee Valley
PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – People across the Chattahoochee Valley gathered to take part in the annual Revival by the River event Friday night.
It's an event that brings the entire Chattahoochee Valley together.
For Mike Marshall, a singer on the Eminent Worship Team, it's a message he is passionate to spread.
"It means a lot just to have a lot of people coming together and worshiping the lord," says Marshall. "I think what makes tonight special is just the unity,"
Between 6 and 9 p.m., the Phenix City Amphitheater was packed with singers, dancers, and entertainers taking to the stage to lead the crowd.
Over 9 thousand people have attended the event in the years past and organizers say tonight they hope to have broken that record.
On Saturday, there will be a community-wide outreach where the public can come to the Columbus Trade Center at 1 p.m. to participate in service projects.
