CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) – The Chambers County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man after he allegedly fired shots into a car occupied by his wife and two children.
On Tuesday morning around 5 a.m., deputies were called to a home in the 2000 block of County Road 281 in northern Chambers county.
Deputies learned that the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Brandon James Osteen of Five Points, had fired gunshots into a vehicle occupied by his wife and two children.
Once deputies arrived on the scene, the suspect tried to escape by car and on foot but was later arrested.
Osteen was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, third-degree domestic violence, and attempting to elude.
This case is still under investigation. Osteen is currently being held at the Chambers County Detention Facility.
