SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WTVM) – A Nashville man with a unique mugshot was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, among other charges.
When you look at 46-year-old John Casey III, you think he just got back from a rendition of "The Wizard of Oz" and may have played either the tinman or the cowardly lion. It turns out, Casey was a street performer.
Casey III was found by officers passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle.
According to police and despite the looks of his mugshot, the suspect was not huffing paint. After reviewing body camera footage, the suspect was a street performer and was standing at the Kentucky Derby as a statue.
