MANCHESTER, GA (WTVM) – An elementary school principal has been arrested and is now facing felony charges.
According to Manchester Police Chief Raymond "Gray" Couch, Nicole Kendrick, the principal of Unity Elementary School in Luthersville, GA is facing two counts of criminal damage to property and burglary charges.
Chief Couch says on May 6 around 1:30 a.m., Ms. Kendrick busted the windows out of a car parked in the driveway of a home on Scenic Heights Road.
She then went to the back of the house and broke out the window to the back door to get into the house.
The house was located in Manchester which is in Talbot County. He says Kendrick and the male victim knew each other.
Chief Couch says when officers arrived they saw Kendrick inside the house being restrained by the male victim.
The police chief says Kendrick admitted to officers that she broke out the windows and told them to take her to jail.
Nicole Kendrick was booked into the Taylor County Jail. She bonded out May 8.
