Teen struck in hit-and-run accident on Buena Vista Rd.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - First responders reported to the scene of a hit and run accident on Buena Vista Road in Columbus.
According to police, a teenager was hit by a vehicle and has been transported to Midtown Medical Center. The accident happened at the intersection of McBride Drive and Buena Vista Road around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The teen was taken to Midtown Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
