Columbus Government Center tower reopens Thursday

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The heating system in the Columbus Government Center has been restored as of Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The tower and east/west wings were closed due to an unexpected failure in the heating system.

City officials expect temperatures in the building to stabilize overnight.

The Government Center will be open for business as normal Thursday, Jan. 4. All employees are to report at their normal times.
