AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Auburn police arrested a suspect Monday on outstanding warrants.

Jamarcus Richmond, 20, was charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree robbery, and second-degree theft of property.

On Jan. 29 at approximately 9 a.m., Auburn police responded to reports of two armed suspects burglarizing a home in the 800 block of W. Longleaf Drive. According to the victims, the suspects demanded money and property and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.

No injuries were reported.

After an investigation, police determined that Richmond is an acquaintance of the victims and had previously been at the home. Police say Richmond returned to commit the robbery.

Richmond is being held in the Lee County Jail on a $305,000 bond.

The case is still under investigation by the Auburn Police Department and additional arrests are anticipated.
