Two Phenix City men arrested for armed robbery

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Phenix City police were dispatched to the Castle Fuel Gas Station at the intersection of Hwy. 165 and Hwy. 431 in reference to an armed robbery.

The call came in around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

A Russell Co. deputy was in the vicinity and witnessed the suspects running from the store. The deputy got into a vehicle and drove after the suspects.

A short pursuit took place and ended in a single-vehicle accident.

The two suspects, Trystan Greenlee and Tony Prather, were arrested.

A handgun, which was reported stolen from Clayton Co., GA was recovered along with an undisclosed amount of money.

Greenlee is being charged with Robbery – 1st Degree and Attempted to Elude.

Prather is being charged with Robbery – 1st Degree, Certain Person Forbidden to carry a pistol and Receiving Stolen Property.
