COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - February marks Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.
Groups throughout the Chattahoochee Valley came together for their 5th annual Teen Dating Violence Forum Thursday at the Columbus Public Library.
Teens got the chance to receive tips and learn the warning signs family should be aware of when it comes to teen dating violence.
"Abuse and healthy relationships don't belong together. You have the right to say no. You have the right to be loved," says Tiarra Sanga with Hope Harbor.
Georgia is ranked No. 1 in the county in teen dating violence. The presentation also featured Teen Maze for the attendees to work out scenarios faced with Teen Dating Violence.
