COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Former Navy Seal and business executive Clay Tippins visited Columbus Monday to spread his mission for a fresh perspective on politics.
Tippins is in the Georgia governor's race and says a new approach is needed to deliver solutions that Georgia requires. According to Tippins, we can find an approach by using 21st-century tools and data collection.
"Where I believe Georgia's at, we've got to do some things differently. We need to keep our same level of prosperity and security we've got to future-proof Georgia and create the first 21st-century state. That's why I thought some outside perspective was needed and that's why I jumped in" says Tippins.
He says he's on a mission to improve people's lives, not further his career.
