TROUP COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - Students in Troup County will make up one day of school after missing several days due to inclement weather.
Since the beginning of the school year, students and employees have missed six days of instructional days due to inclement weather. Four of the six days were declared a state of emergency by Governor Nathan Deal's office.
Troup County School System employees will have to make up two missed days by submitted annual leave or documentation showing extended work time.
Teachers will be scheduled for two days of professional learning after Memorial Day.
