COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Regional Health is opening its doors to expecting parents and families for the second annual Arrival Day at Midtown Medical Center.
"It's an opportunity to engage with our baby experts, for anyone who's maybe a first-time mom or even if this is your fourth child, you're a little anxious," said Jessica Word Roberts, Senior Public Relations Coordinator for Columbus Regional Health.
Representatives with Columbus Regional say around 500 people are registered for the event.
They believe the rain played a part in why people did not come out, but the number still reached triple digits.
One of those was our very own Roslyn Giles who emceed the event.
Many first-time mothers and families say they enjoyed the event.
"This is my first baby and my first time coming here, so it's really cool to see all the vendors and the photographers and getting a tour of the labor and delivery to see what I will experience when I do have my son," said Baylee Carington, an expectant mother.
