Muscogee County Republican Party welcomes state, local candidates

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Muscogee County Republican Party welcomed candidates to hear from voters and introduce themselves ahead of the Georgia governor election.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods and Marc Urbach, former candidate for president of the United States and current governor candidate, came out to meet the public and were also speakers during the meeting Tuesday.

There were candidates in attendance who are running in both the state and local elections.

"Get active in your government so that we can restore the rule of law for all citizens here in Georgia," says governor candidate Marc Urbach.

"As I travel the state I have an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from the constituents across the state of Georgia. It is my hope that this knowledge gained will make me better able to serve the people across the state of Georgia," says Tracy Jordan, candidate for insurance commissioner.

Everyone at the meeting had the same message, which is to 'get others involved.'
