COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Board of Realtors is giving back to the community.
The organization donated computers for the Impacting Generations literacy program. The computers were presented Thursday to Norman Quarles, founder of the program.
Quarles overcame hardships in his life and is now helping others.
Impacting Generations is aimed towards helping troubled teens, young adults, and single mothers in the Columbus area.
"This is the 21st century, a technological age. They must be abreast of things with the computer in order to research things," says Quarles.
He says the computers will help the program's mission to educate and empower young adults.
