Locust Grove police officer laid to rest
LOCUST GROVE, GA (WTVM) – A police officer killed in the line of duty was laid to rest Saturday.
The Locust Grove police officer, Chase Maddox, was shot while trying to serve an arrest warrant on Feb. 9th.
Two Henry County sheriff's deputies were also shot.
All three were transported to the hospital, but Maddox died as a result of his injuries.
He leaves behind two young sons and a wife.
Maddox had been with the Locust Grove Police Department for 5 years.
