COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Hardaway Hawk is taking his game to the next level.

Greg Countryman signed with Huntington Prep out of West Virginia Tuesday afternoon.

Huntington has a very good junior college program that produced players like Andrew Wiggins of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Michigan State's Miles Bridges, who could be a first-round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.

That pedigree drew Countryman's attention, and he hopes for similar success with the Fighting Irish.

"It played into it a lot because at the end when I was stressing schools, I got a call and it was a great opportunity so I couldn't say no," Countryman said. "When I go there, I believe it will be a good move and I will grow as a player and person, just everything, and my game should go to a higher level and bigger schools will come."
