Columbus police investigating overnight bar shooting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police are currently investigating an overnight shooting happening around 1:00 a.m Apr. 22.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on Milgen Rd. at Legends Bar and Grill.

When they arrived on the scene, investigators say they found a man with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim, Christopher Wachal, was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for a non-life threatening injury.

There is no report on his current condition.

Reports also suggest that the suspect fled on foot.
