COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - She says she has been praying for it to happen and it did.
Callaway High School junior Oeisha Jenkins heard her name called as the winner of a new Chevy Sonic.
The Troup County girl has been doing more than just praying, Oeisha has been working hard, coming to school and getting good grades.
It was all part of a program called Positive Behavior Intervention and Support.
Callaway's principal says it motivated Oeisha and hundreds of other students who were all in the running for the car. He says because of the program, suspensions are down 43% and student failures are down 37%.
Oeisha says winning the car will help her family tremendously.
