COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus police officer was caught going above and beyond for a stranded driver Friday.

When a woman ran out of gas on the interstate, Cpl. Cole stepped in to make sure she got back on the road.

Not only did Cole give the woman a ride to the gas station, he filled her gas canister as well as her tank to ensure she was mobile again.

The Columbus Police Department highlighted Cole's good deed on its Facebook page. Thanks Cpl. Cole.
