AUBURN, AL (WTVM)- Auburn Police arrested a 38-year-old man, James F. Romine, on multiple charges.

He was charged with burglary in the third-degree, theft of property first-degree and resisting arrest.

His arrest is a result of a burglary reported on April 26 at a residence on the block of Redwood Court.

While residents were away from the home, someone entered their home and stole two flat screen televisions, an electronic device, and sunglasses all items totaling over $3,200.

An unidentified male was captured on video surveillance entering the residence. Further investigation determined Romine to be the offender.

One of the televisions and the electronic device was recovered by the police prior to his arrest. Romine was found at his residence where he was then taken into custody. He initially resisted the arrest which led to an additional charge for resisting arrest.
