COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM)- It is a special week at Piedmont Columbus Regional, as cancer survivors are being celebrated over the next five days.
Oncology Outreach Coordinator from Piedmont, Michael Nwogbo talks about the many events that will be held through the week leading up to the main even ton Sunday, June 3.
The John B Amos Cancer Center invites those who are battling cancer or who have won their battle to join them for the activities and events during Cancer Survivors Week from May 29 – June 3.
Below is a list of events they will be having that are free and open to the public.
May 29, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sweet treats and ribbon event in the JBACC atrium
May 30, 2-4 p.m.
Resource Fair and Spa Day at the Midtown Campus Conference Center
June 1, 1-3 p.m.
Popcorn Friday in the JBACC atrium
June 3, 2-4 p.m.
Survivor's Social- Red Carpet Sunday at the Midtown Campus Conference Center
(Limit one guest per survivor, and must have RSVP'd by May 25)
