Chambers County Sheriff's Office arrest man on assault and other charges

CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM)- Sheriff Sid Lockhart reports that on May 1 his office received information that Justin Hill who had multiple felony warrants was believed to be in the Ridge Grove Community of Chambers County.

Deputies traveled to this area and located the vehicle Hill was believed to be occupying behind a residence on County Road. The vehicle was unoccupied and a search for Hill was attempted by officers throughout the community. The deputies of the area located Hill where he tried to flee on foot which led to a foot pursuit of Hill.

It was later found that Hill had stolen an ATV from one of the residence in the area. Hill was charged with the outstanding warrants of assault 1st degree, leaving scene of an accident.

Hill will be held in Chambers County jail awaiting the extradition process for outstanding warrants of unlawful manufacture in Randolph County, Alabama, probation violation in Baldwin County, Alabama and probation violation in Harris County, Georgia,
