Muscogee Co. Marshal's Office to hold civilian firearms course

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Muscogee County Marshal's Office wants you to learn how to handle a gun in a legal and responsible way.

The Marshal's Office will host a civilian firearms course June 5 for anyone age 21 years or older.

The class costs $42 and those interested will need to bring their own firearm, holster and 100 rounds of ammunition.

You will also need to bring eye and ear protection if you are planning on participating.

The firearm training class will happen at the Marshal's Office on 10th St. from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. ET.
