Columbus mayor honors gymnastics championship team

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The City of Columbus took time during its latest council meeting to recognize a championship gymnastics team based in the Fountain City.
The Timor Pythons from United Cheerleading received a proclamation from Mayor Teresa Tomlinson - naming June 5 after them.
The Pythons won their division of the Summit National Championship at Disney World in Orlando one month ago.
