City council in Phenix City reviews proposed 2018-19 fiscal budget

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Leaders in Phenix City took a close look at the city's future Monday.
Members of the city council held a called work session in the Municipal building to review the proposed 2018-19 fiscal year budget.
City Manager Wallace Hunter presided over the meeting.
The council discussed topics to include the projected fuel budget for buses, an update for city employees to report their time, and new lighting in and around the public areas of the city.
The budget has not been voted. Monday's meeting was only a reading.
