HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - The Harris County Sheriff's Office is hoping a reminder about a missing man can crack a 16-year-old cold case.

Christopher Thompkins was last seen Jan. 25, 2002 walking away from a survey job site in a wooded area near Highway 85 in Ellerslie.

At the time, he was wearing a pair of navy blue pants, a plaid jacket with a grey hood and a black skull cap.

Thompkins has a tattoo on his right arm with his name 'CHRIS' in vertical letters written inside an ice cream cone. The ice cream part is the head of a joker wearing a hat.

Deputies continue to ask for tips in the case as they remain vigilant about learning what happened to Thompkins.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office at (706) 628-4211.
