Tree falls on vehicle in Smiths Station due to severe weather

SMITHS STATION, AL (WTVM) – Parts of East Alabama are getting hit with severe weather Thursday afternoon.
A tree blew over and fell on top of a car sitting in the Government Center's parking lot.
Nobody was inside of the vehicle and crews quickly chopped the tree up and got it off the car.
