Woman arrested for conspiracy to commit murder in Troup Co.

LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) – The Troup County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman for conspiracy to commit murder.
Investigators received information that an inmate within the Troup County Jail was possibly conspiring to have an individual on the outside killed.
On Wednesday, investigators learned that inmate Iesha Delshay Brooks, 26, had propositioned another inmate to make contact with someone outside of the jail to have another killed.
During the investigation, evidence confirmed this information and Brooks was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Brooks was originally in jail for a probation violation.
