Man arrested for armed robbery; stealing beer at a Lafayette gas station

LAFAYETTE, AL (WTVM) - Circle K gas station on S. Lafayette St. in Lafayette, Alabama was robbed.
Anthony Briskey entered the store and allegedly ordered the clerk to lay on the ground while threatening her with what appeared to be a concealed handgun. Briskey then stole a case of beer and left the scene.
The clerk then called the Lafayette Police Department. Briskey was arrested the following morning by officers of the Lafayette Police Department and charged with robbery.
No one was injured during the armed robbery.
