3 suspects wanted in Opelika for robbery at GiGi's Beauty Supply
OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - Opelika police are searching for three robbery suspects.
Police responded to a robbery complaint at GiGi's Beauty Supply on Friday, June 29 at 12:49 p.m.
Three female suspects entered the store, located at 818 Columbus Parkway, and began asking the cashier to view different items of merchandise. According to police, the suspects then ran out of the store with merchandise in their hands.
The manager of the store followed the suspects into the parking lot and confronted one of them. One of the women reportedly used an edged weapon to cut the manager on his hand.
The suspects also struck the manager with the outside right mirror of the vehicle they left the parking lot in. The store manager received minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as approximately 5'6" weighing nearly 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts.
The second suspect is nearly 5'5" and weighs approximately 250 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black/blonde wig and scarf, a black and white striped shirt, and black pants.
The third suspect is described as 5'6" weighing about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black and pink wig, a purple Nike sports bra, and white leggings.
The three suspects left the store in a silver four-door vehicle with a Georgia tag.
