(WTVM) - Chick-fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day is Tuesday, July 10. It's the one day of the year when the restaurant offers free food to guests who arrive dressed in 'cow apparel.'

To participate in the appreciation day, customers can make or buy costumes, or wear anything 'cow-like' to their favorite Chick-fil-A location.

Those who visit the restaurant between opening time and 7 p.m. in cow attire will receive a free entrée.

Cow Appreciation Day has taken place for 14 years and serves as a way to show appreciation to customers.  There are currently 2,200 participating Chick-fil-A restaurants.
