UPDATE: 4 arrested for robbery, possessing marijuana in Eufaula

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) - Eufaula police arrested four people in connection to a robbery.

Officers were dispatched to Fairlane Meadows Apartments at approximately 10:45 a.m. about a possible armed robbery. Officers made contact with a silver Ford Explorer on South Randolph Avenue that matched the description of the suspects' vehicle.

The suspects were taken into custody after a short pursuit ended with them fleeing the vehicle and running into the woods in the Brickyard Road area.

Two of the suspects were apprehended in the wooded area and the third suspect was arrested a short time later on Eufaula Avenue near Chapman's Funeral Home.

The following suspects were charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree possession of marijuana:

  • Tyrone Leon Lindsey, 39, Blakely, GA
  • Loyless Tolbert, 30, Blakely, GA
  • Patrick Leon Lindsey, 34, Blakely, GA
  • Demarcus Lee, 23, Blakely, GA

Weapons and illegal substances taken during the robbery were located near the suspects' abandoned vehicle.

The suspects are being held at the Eufaula City Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
