CPD investigating attempted armed robbery at hotel on Victory Dr.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are investigating a criminal attempt of an armed robbery at a hotel.
According to a police report, on Wednesday, July 11 around 3:38 a.m. police were called to the Econo Lodge located at 4483 Victory Drive.
Police are now searching for a suspect as the case remains under investigation.
