COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Several individuals were arrested following nightclub checks in Columbus, including a man with 10 outstanding felony warrants.

Members of the Columbus Police Department Special Operations Unit conducted nightclub checks Thursday, July 12 to ensure employees that are required to have ABC Cards did in fact have them.

Roderick Hill was arrested at the Foxy Lady on Victory Drive and had 10 outstanding warrants for the following offenses:

  • Armed robbery ( two warrants)
  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (two warrants)
  • Criminal attempt armed robbery (three warrants)
  • First-degree burglary (two warrants)
  • Possession of firearm by a convicted felon

The nightclub check resulted in five additional people arrested for not having an ABC Card  and one person facing drug-related charges:

Charge: No ABC card

Fabian Stafford

Arrested at The Gold Club

Charges: Possession of marijuana, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act schedule II, and open container

According to the police department, other criminal violations are discovered as nightclub compliance checks are performed. Such violations are addressed as they occur.
