Free boating safety class offered at West Point Lake

WEST POINT, GA (WTVM) - A free class on boating safety is being offered at West Point Lake Saturday, July 14.
The class will be administered by the Army Corps of Engineers and will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the West Point Project Management Office.
Georgia residents who take the course will be cleared to operate a boat on state waters without adult supervision.
Alabamians can take the course and bypass the written exam for a boating license.
