Auburn man arrested for marijuana, theft

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – Auburn police arrested a man on several warrants.

On Friday, July 13 28-year-old Stephen Blalock from Auburn was arrested on felony and misdemeanor warrants.

The arrest was the result of an investigation into a complaint of breaking and entering into a vehicle in the 500 block of Lee Road 57.

The Auburn Police Division responded in reference to a person who entered a Ford F-150 pickup and stole prescription medication.

Blalock was developed as a suspect in the case. On July 13, detectives with the Auburn Police Division executed a search warrant on Blalock's residence.

During the search, detectives located several items, including marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Blalock was present during the search of his residence and he was taken into custody. 

He was arrested on warrants for unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, theft of property second degree, possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Lee County Jail.

He will be eligible for an $8,000 bond.
