Auburn man arrested for breaking into vehicle and theft

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - A suspect was arrested Friday, July 13 in Auburn for breaking into a vehicle and theft.

Hunter G. Everett, 22, from Auburn is charged with unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and second-degree theft of property.

On April 25, a firearm was recovered from Everett during an investigation into an unrelated incident. Further investigation determined that the firearm was taken during the breaking and entering of a 2008 GMC Sierra in the 1400 block of North Donahue Drive.

Everett was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $6,000 bond.
