GA Election Day is Tuesday - Here's what you need to know

(WTVM) - Georgia voters head back to the polls Tuesday, July 24 to decide their party's nominees in some of the state's top races.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. EST.

Some big races to watch include the Republican runoff between Casey Cagle and Brian Kemp.

A Republican runoff in the lieutenant governor's race will also be decided after tomorrow. That race is between Geoff Duncan and David Shafer.

Locally, Mike Edmondson and Bart Steed are going head to head in the race to secure the District 2 seat on the Musocgee County School Board.

You'll also see Amy Bryan and John House's names on the local ballot tomorrow. They're running for the vacant District 10 city-wide Columbus council seat.

All registered voters are being encouraged to get out and vote.
