UPDATE: Victim ID'd in fatal shooting at Opelika mobile home park

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - One person is dead following a shooting in Opelika.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Windsor Mobile Home Park just after 9:30 p.m. CST on July 26.

Upon arrival, 36-year-old Antonio Drisker of Opelika was found with no signs of life. He appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Lee County Coroner Bill Harris pronounced Drisker deceased on the scene.

According to Coroner Harris, the victim was shot and tried to run for help at a nearby by home.

His body will be sent to Montgomery for an autopsy.

This is the second fatal shooting in Opelika this week.

This case is still under investigation by the Opelika Police Department's Detective Division. Anyone with any information is asked to call OPD at (334) 705-5220.
