(WTVM) - A Thursday morning burglary on July 26 at a Ladonia, Alabama gas station now has police agencies from both Phenix City and Columbus working to find out who is responsible.

The incident was all caught on camera through store surveillance video. The video shows the two suspects on camera at 2 a.m. during a smash and grab of the store's ATM at the Sunoco Gas Station on Highway 80 West.

The store was closed at the time with no workers or customers inside during the incident. Police are searching for the two suspects in the video.

Police say the two male suspects are possibly connected to other crimes involving the white Ford F-250 used in the crime.

The store manager, Shawn Patel, says there was approximately $5,000 inside the ATM when the thieves took off with it.

"We are open for business and operating as normal," says Patel.

The gas station has a "We Are Open" sign painted on the boards covering the damage from the incident.

If you have any information on the incident or the suspects you're asked to contact Phenix City Police.
