LaGrange couple celebrates 75th wedding anniversary

(WTVM) - One couple in LaGrange celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Thursday, August 2.
Odessa Mae Person turned 91 years old on July 1 and her husband, Eddie Berry Person will turn 96 on Christmas Eve.
They grew up during a time where segregation was dominant. They worked in cotton fields from sun up to sun down with no pay. The couple said it wasn't easy, but it's been worth it.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Person.
