LaGrange police investigating early morning gas station armed robbery

LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) - The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station shortly before 4:00 a.m.

The Summit gas station clerk told police he was outside checking the gas pumps when he saw three men approach the Commerce Ave. store on Aug. 14.

Before he could reach the front door, he noticed the men had masks covering their faces and handguns.

The suspects were able to get an undisclosed amount of money and several cigars before leaving the area on foot.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens to early twenties, wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.
