CPD investigating accident involving pedestrian near Buena Vista Rd.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police and Fire/EMS are on the scene of an apparent accident with injuries involving a pedestrian.
The accident took place near Buena Vista Rd. and Pembrook Dr.
There is no word yet on the severity of the injuries sustained or the victim's condition.
Police are asking you to avoid the area if at all possible.
