COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - After 34 years in business Boo's Package store has closed their doors on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, Boo's, a local package store located on Airport Thruway and Whitesville Road in Columbus closed its doors.

Boo's opened in 1984 and has been one of the large icons in The Landings Shopping center.

Prior to their closing, they had a 'Closeout Sale' on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 to try to empty the store before the original closing date which was originally Aug. 30.

There is no confirmed reason for the closure, or what will be in place of the building next.
