Third Columbus suspect arrested in deadly Pizza Hut shooting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police have arrested a third suspect involved in a shooting on Buena Vista Rd. in April.

24-year-old Tommie Jamal Mullins was arrested and charged with the murder of 32-year-old Branden Denson.

Denson was shot and killed outside of a Pizza Hut on Buena Vista Rd. on Apr. 6.

Two other suspects have been arrested in connection with Denson's death.

Eric Spencer was arrested in May and Dover Coppins was arrested on Aug. 21.

Mullins is scheduled to appear in Recorder's Court on Friday, Aug. 24 at 9:00 a.m.

He is currently being held in the Muscogee County Jail.
