Phenix City Library and Regional Rehab Hospital host brunch and learn to promote eye health
The Phenix City Library and Regional Rehab Hospital are partnering with each other to promote eye health for senior adults.

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - The Phenix City Library and Regional Rehabilitation Hospital are joining together to host a brunch and learn for senior adults and their caregivers.

The program for the event will be 'What Not to Do' for healthy eye care.

Dr. Sterling Cannon, M.D. of West Georgia Eye Care will be at the event to share his tips for keeping your eyes healthy.

The free event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Phenix City Library from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST.

Refreshments will be provided as part of the event.

Those in attendance can also get their blood pressure checked between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. EST before the presentation.
