FORT MITCHELL, AL (WTVM) - A nationwide tour to help prevent soldier suicide made a stop in the Chattahoochee Valley Thursday.

Riki's Ride is a program that is traveling the country on motorcycles to help battle the suicide rate for those who have served in the armed forces.

The tour stopped at Ice Dreams Ice Cream and Coffee Shop in Fort Mitchell.

Organizers want veterans to know that there is always someone waiting to hear about the problems they face.

The coffee shop is veteran-owned by two former Marines.

Riki's Ride plans to cover 23,000 miles in total.
