RANDOLPH COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - The fall out continues over the proposal to close Randolph County polling locations.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ahead of Friday's vote, the board fired Mike Malone - the consultant that proposed the closures.
Malone was hired to assist with elections until the county could find a permanent elections supervisor.
It was also revealed that Malone had donated to Brian Kemp's campaign and then was suggested by Kemp's office to the Randolph County Board of Elections as a certified elections officials.
