LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) – The LaGrange – Troup County Chamber of Commerce has announced that LaGrange will host the 2019 Governor's Tourism Conference at Great Wolf Lodge.
Nearly 400 tourism professionals from across Georgia will convene Sept. 9-11, 2019 for three days of education, networking, and fun.
The annual conference features a series of educational sessions, special evening events unique to the host community, an address from the current Governor of Georgia and presentation of awards to recognize the accomplishments of leaders in the field.
"We are delighted that our community was chosen to host this important conference," said JJ Kuerzi, Chamber Vice Chair for Tourism. "This will provide an opportunity for us to show off our incredible tourism assets and hospitality partners and create a favorable impression among hundreds of influential leaders in the tourism industry. To echo Governor Deal's remarks, I'm certain our visitors will 'Be Surprised' by all we have to offer."
