AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - An Auburn football graduate says he has hung up his cleats for his true passion.
Jaylen McGriff, former defensive back for the Auburn Tigers made a video saying, "now that I have hung up my cleats it's time to pursue my true passion."
McGriff also known as "Crime Dawg" started playing football for Auburn in the summer of 2016 and later graduated in December 2017.
He says that he learned a lot from his teammates and coaches while playing for Auburn. The biggest thing he gained was building relationships which led him to his decision to move into real estate.
"I wanted to do something where I can work with people and help others the best way possible which led me to Lake Martin," says McGriff.
He and his teammates spent a lot of time on the lake.
